Can I use the app without creating an account? No. You should create an account to use Boat File. No credit card or other payment info needed to create an account. Access with an account makes Boat File more secure for the user community – this is our priority.

Can I add multiple boats? Free basic subscription allows only one boat.

What kind of boat details can I track? You can store registration info, engine hours, fuel usage, maintenance records, documents, photos, and more.

Does the app remind me about scheduled maintenance? Yes. You can set up custom reminders for engine checks, oil changes, inspections, and more.

Can I keep a digital logbook? Definitely. Our logbook feature allows you to record trips, mileage, weather conditions, crew members, and notes.

Can I access the app offline? Off-line sign-in is valid for 24 hours after going off-line. Key features like your logbook and maintenance records are available even when you’re out of signal range.

What happens if I change phones? As long as you’re signed in, your data is safely stored and will sync to your new device automatically.
